Ghost of Children Wearing White Socks Were Spotted at The Myrtles Plantation in Louisiana

A couple staying in one of ‘America’s most haunted houses’ got more than they bargained for when they filmed a trio of ‘ghosts’ feet’ walking past them.

Brandon and Taryn Hunt had gone to enjoy a weekend away at Myrtles Plantation in Louisiana.

But when they arrived, they were greeted by a terrified departing guest who claimed to have photographed a ghoul.

So when the couple decided to film some of their own overnight stay, they discovered their own unexpected guest.

Eerie footage shows what appears to be not one, but three pairs of feet walking from a staircase into the main hallway of the house before vanishing into thin air.

Two appear to be dressed in long white socks with black buckled shoes. One of the ‘spirits’ pauses as if looking directly at the camera, before the feet turn and walk off.

But Brandon, 47, claims neither he nor Taryn, 38, spotted the feet when they were videoing the room, and only realised the ‘supernatural walkers’ when watching the video the next day.

‘I just thought it was spooky, weird, and crazy and unexpected,’ said Brandon, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

‘We weren’t expecting to see anything and then lo and behold there it was, we saw these feet.

‘We were freaking out when we saw the video. It was totally surprising. We didn’t know what it was or what to expect, or how that could have happened.

‘We were amazed by the situation because we didn’t see it as it happened.

‘We were just sitting on the front porch that night and videoing around and looking at different things.

‘I decided I would video that room and I did, not noticing anything [ghost-like] when I did the video.

‘We were sitting there looking at all the pictures we had taken and rewatching the videos, and I saw those feet walk across there. I was thinking, wait, what?

‘I showed my wife and said, ‘look at this and tell me what you see’. She looked at it and she was like, ‘oh my gosh, that’s feet walking across’.

‘We didn’t even notice it when we took the videos. We noticed the next day when we were rewatching the videos we took.’

Brandon shared the post online where it quickly went viral, and while some were convinced and claimed that they could see a dog, others were more sceptical.

One person wrote: ‘Is that a black dog with lighter colored legs ? Cause I definitely see something other than human legs.’

Another wrote: ‘I see someone crawling out from under the stairs, then crawling until it disappears. Watch it again and you’ll see it too.’

Another speculated that it could be ‘some kind of reflection’.

One user wrote: ‘It’s an interesting piece of footage but is unfortunately very easily duplicated by natural means.

‘There is also no way to verify the authenticity of the footage or if the footage has not been tampered with.’

However Brandon claims the footage is completely untouched.

‘Some people think it’s real and others don’t, but it is what it is,’ said Brandon.

‘I didn’t make up anything, in particular with my phone. It’s not like I did any camera tricks or anything. It’s straight off my phone.

‘Ghosts aren’t something I go searching for, but my wife loves to watch scary movies. That’s one of her favourite things to watch on TV.

‘We like the plantation home which is considered haunted, but it’s just fun to stay there I guess for the chance of seeing something.

‘It’s geared up for a crowd who are interested in spirits. It’s pretty well known in these parts for that.

‘A lot of people go there just to stay and see if they can see something, but not everyone does. I guess the ghosts come out when they want to come out.’

  • College online acceleration classes are offered throughout the year

Is there a five-week summer class?

Yes, most online schools with five-week terms offer their accelerated courses throughout the year.

Unlike traditional courses, you don't have to wait until the fall semester begins. Whether you want to start your studies in January, June, or August, you can start at any time.

Are online programs accelerated cheaper than traditional ones?
It depends. Accelerated courses can be cheaper, but the costs vary greatly depending on the University.

The best way to find out the total cost is to narrow down your school choices:

  • Does the University offer big lectures?
  • Has the University accelerated class?
  • Are there college discounts for military respondents or first?
  • Are there individual online education levels or tuition rates?
  • Does the University offer financial assistance: scholarships, grants, loans, or payment plans?
  • In some schools, the amount of time you spend enrolling in a degree program determines your final costs. For example, when you pay a flat fee instead of paying with credit hours. Therefore, if you finish quickly, you might pay less. Other schools sometimes require additional online fees that you don't need to pay if you attend classes on campus. But on the other hand, campus programs often charge additional fees such as parking, activity center fees, and so on. This is where the clean price calculator can come in handy.
