POLIS Johor memberkas lelaki berusia 31 tahun yang juga individu utama kes buli jalanan di Lebuhraya Pasir Gudang dalam kejadian 3 Jun lalu.
Ketua Polis Johor, Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader Mohd berkata, lelaki itu dicekup 5.30 petang semalam di Simpang Renggam bersama tiga lelaki lain.
Beliau berkata, tangkapan dilakukan selepas siasatan mendapati lelaki itu adalah suspek kes samun di kawasan Johor Bahru Selatan sebelum ini.
“Suspek utama ini ditahan bersama tiga rakan yang dipercayai terbabit dalam kes samun.
“Seorang suspek masih bebas dan kami giat mengesannya,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Mohd Khalil berkata, menerusi tangkapan itu polis Johor yakin mampu menyelesaikan 11 kes jenayah samun di sekitar Johor Bahru.
Menurutnya, kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 427/506 Kanun Keseksaan kerana melakukan khianat.
Sabit kesalahan boleh dihukum penjara tidak kurang setahun dan tidak melebihi lima tahun atau denda atau kedua-duanya.
“Kes samun disiasat mengikut Seksyen 395/397 Kanun Keseksaan yang boleh dihukum penjara hingga 20 tahun atau sebatan jika sabit kesalahan,” katanya.
Semalam, klip video berdurasi seminit 23 saat ditularkan netizen memaparkan kejadian 3 Jun lalu yang mana dua lelaki bertindak agresif di Lebuhraya Pasir Gudang.
Video itu menunjukkan dua lelaki keluar dari kereta dan beberapa kali menunjukkan isyarat lucah kepada seorang pengguna jalan raya sebelum seorang daripadanya menghentak cermin hadapan kenderaan itu menggunakan parang.
Pemilik kereta yang cerminnya dihentak dengan parang tampil membuat laporan polis kelmarin.
Kejadian itu dipercayai berlaku akibat rasa tidak berpuas hati suspek tidak diberi ruang untuk memotong dalam keadaan jalan sesak.
